From November 17th to 19th, 2018, our company's General Manager Yu and Engineer Dong, at the invitation of an Egyptian client, went to Egypt for technical discussions.
With the continuous development of the company, we are paying more attention to internationalization and the concept of bringing our products to the world is becoming more deeply rooted.
Bavaria BAVARIA, a well-known fire extinguisher project company in Egypt, requested us to design two schemes: ECL-6X2000 and ESL-6X2000. For over three months, our company has been actively maintaining contact with the client, modifying the schemes multiple times. Finally, with our highly specialized design and reasonable cost budget, we were selected among competitors from Italy, Germany, and South Korea, entering the client's selectable options.
To further understand the client's precise needs and conduct on-site foundation surveys, the chairman of Bavaria personally invited our company's professional technicians to provide guidance. General Manager Yu Shuijun, who has been engaged in foreign trade for many years and has extensive expertise in electrical engineering, and Senior Designer Dong ZhanKui, a veteran mechanical designer, went to Egypt to inspect the company and provide assistance.
Upon arrival in Egypt, the client warmly received us, providing transportation throughout our stay. On the morning of the 17th, the client gave a company introduction, followed by a factory inspection in the afternoon. Whether it's a slitting line or a cut-to-length line, foundations are required. After arriving at the factory, General Manager Yu carefully instructed the client on proper layout planning.
Meeting Discussion
The next day, General Manager Yu and Engineer Dong held detailed discussions with the client regarding the ESL-6X2000 slitting line scheme. The client requested changing the single-head slitting machine to a double-head slitting machine, using all AC motors, adding a set of tools, and providing a CIF Cairo price quote. Due to time constraints, our company stated that we would provide a revised quote after consulting with freight forwarders upon our return. The client readily agreed and hoped for a second review. General Manager Yu stated on the spot that we would provide the most favorable price in the future, hoping to open the Egyptian market through this project.
Foundation Inspection
This invited meeting proceeded very smoothly. We have continued to exchange views on the subsequent schemes, and both sides are willing to reach a consensus and create a win-win cooperative situation.
